Shipping policy

OSTU Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Office Supplies to You (OSTU), we pride ourselves on getting your printer and office supplies to you as fast as possible. With our Nationwide Distribution Network, we ship directly from warehouses on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Adelaide.

1. Dispatch & Delivery Timeframes

We aim for same-day dispatch on all in-stock items.

Same-Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2:00 PM AEST on business days are typically dispatched the same day.

Estimated Delivery Times:

Metro Areas (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast): 1 to 2 business days. Next-day delivery is usually the case. 

Perth Metro: 1 to 3 business days. Next-day delivery is usually the case. 

Regional & Rural Areas: 3 to 4+ business days.

Large/Bulky Items: May require an additional 1 to 2 days for specialised handling.

2. Shipping Costs

At OSTU, we keep our shipping straightforward and transparent. Freight costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your order value and the type of items in your cart.

1. Ink, Toner & General Office Supplies
For all consumables, cartridges, paper, and standard office stationery, our freight tiers are based entirely on your total cart value:

Orders up to $99.99: Flat rate $12.50 Australia-wide.

Orders $100.00 and over: Discounted flat rate $9.95 Australia-wide.

2. Hardware & Printers
Due to the weight and volume constraints of shipping physical machinery, printers and hardware items are calculated separately from standard supplies.

Hardware freight is charged at a flat $15.00 per unit. Shipping rates are discounted for the volume of units. 

If your order includes both ink supplies and hardware, these standard rates will be combined transparently at checkout to ensure your entire delivery is covered.

3. Bulk & Commercial Orders (7+ Hardware Items)
To ensure we provide the most competitive commercial transport rates for bulk equipment deployments, automated checkout is capped at 7 hardware units.

If you require 8 or more printers or heavy hardware items, our system will securely pause your checkout. Please contact by phone (1800 801 100) or email info@ostu.com.au with your delivery details, and we will provide a custom, optimised bulk freight quote for you.

3. Delivery Partners

To ensure reliability, we partner with Australia’s leading couriers, including Australia Post, StarTrack, Aramex, and Team Global Express (formerly Toll).

Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves one of our warehouses.

PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers: We do not deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers for standard-sized items via Australia Post. Large or bulky items require a physical street address.

4. Authority to Leave (ATL)
By default, our couriers will require a signature. However, you may select "Authority to Leave" via your email for tracking. 

Note: OSTU is not responsible for any loss or damage to packages once the courier has confirmed delivery to a nominated "safe place."

5. Incorrect Addresses & Redelivery

Please double-check your delivery address. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from a post office, a redelivery fee may apply.

6. Service Areas

OSTU ships to all states and territories within Australia. We do not currently offer international shipping.
